Poligami.. hmm.. tema yang tak lekang dimakan jaman. Selalu ramai diperbincangkan. Mengundang kontroversi antara pro dan kontra. Menuai perdebatan antara mendukung dan menentang. Namun, betapapun riuh pembahasan mengenai poligami, para pelakunya tak surut dari waktu ke waktu, dengan berbagai alasan dan kondisi yang melatari.

Aneka kehidupan poligami mewarnai kehidupan ini. Ada yang beraroma luka dengan airmata tak berkesudahan. Ada tetes kecemburuan yang kental di dalamnya. Ada pengorbanan yang berbanding lurus dengan keikhlasan. Dan, ada pula yang bertabur senyum dengan rona bahagia.

Sebuah buku bertajuk “Gado-Gado Poligami – Antara Fiksi dan Realitas” terbitan PT Elex Media Komputindo, mengurai kisah poligami dengan menampilkan kisah nyata dan kisah fiksi. Macam gado-gado yang memuat bermacam bumbu, maka kisah-kisah ini memiliki rasa yang berlainan. Ada yang manis, asin, hingga pedas. Namun yang pasti, kesemuanya bermuara pada satu rasa, yaitu rasa yang sedap.

Bermula dari lomba menulis flash fiction maksimal 400 kata di facebook, terjaringlah kisah-kisah FF pilihan yang kemudian menjelma menjadi buku ini. Adalah Leyla Imtichanah a.k.a Leyla Hana yang menggagas lomba ini lalu menyusunnya dengan menambahkan kisah-kisah nyata untuk penyeimbang serta pembanding. Maka, terbentanglah di hadapan pembaca, antara fiksi dan realita seputar poligami.

Lomba flash fiction alias fiksi kilat itu sendiri, ternyata mendapat sambutan luar biasa dari para
fesbuker. Di luar dugaan, peserta lomba mencapai 300 lebih. Bahkan hingga deadline lewat, masih saja ada yang bersikeras mengirimkan naskahnya.

Kisah-kisah dalam buku ini membawa kita pada perenungan yang dalam tentang dinamika poligami. Plus minusnya, suka dukanya, bahagia dan deritanya. Anda akan dibuat tercengang, takjub, gregetan, dan tersayat pilu. Pun Anda tak dapat mengelak isak, lalu mengulum senyum, bahkan geram berdentam-dentam.

Tengoklah kisah yang bertutur tentang seorang istri yang awalnya merestui pernikahan suaminya yang kedua. Suaminya santun memohon izin dengan alasan yang bisa diterima. Namun mengapa kemudian keluarga yang semula bahagia itu berubah menjadi oleng? Apa yang dilakukan istri pertama agar keluarganya tetap berlayar tenang meski badai menghantam? Kisah perjuangan
seorang wanita yang tegar ini hadir dalam kisah apik berjudul “Mengepak Dengan Satu Sayap".

Kisah-kisah lain yang mengaduk emosi, tentang poligami terselubung. Tidak ada pemberitahuan kepada istri pertama, sekonyong-konyong berita tentang istri kedua lengkap beserta anaknya, menggelegar membuat hati berguncang. Ada yang kehilangan kendali, ada yang tertatih-tatih menata hati, ada juga yang bangkit lalu berjaya. Apa saja yang mereka lakukan? Bagaimana
keluarga dekat seharusnya bersikap? Lalu bagaimana nasib anak-anak hasil pernikahan itu? Temukan hikmah yang bertabur dalam kisah-kisah tersebut.

Poligami yang damai berbuah kebahagiaan, juga terjadi dalam kehidupan. Istri kedua yang dipilihkan oleh istri pertama, lalu mereka bahu membahu dalam biduk rumahtangga dengan satu nakhoda yang sama. Sebuah keluarga yang kompak, dengan anak-anak yang akrab kepada dua ibunya. Bagaimana hal semacam ini bisa terjadi? Apa yang melatari peristiwa tersebut? Sungguh merupakan kisah inspiratif. Judulnya yaitu “Senyum Ini Milik Kami”. Kisah-kisah bahagia lainnya yang tak kalah menarik untuk diselami.

Kepiawaian para penulis dalam menuangkan ide dan imajinya, tampak dalam deretan fiksi kilat dalam buku ini. Dengan jumlah kata yang dibatasi, karena sifatnya yang ‘kilat’, pembaca tidak akan kehilangan asyiknya mengunyah cerita. FF berjudul “Secangkir Kopi” benar-benar menguar aroma nikmat, dengan suasana syahdu dalam sulaman kata-kata indah nan romantis. Menyusul cerita
yang berjudul “Carikan Aku Teman, Bi” merupakan kisah sederhana yang manis dengan ending tak terduga. Dan rupa-rupa kisah lainnya dalam racikan gado-gado dengan kata kunci: sedap.

Setelah menelusuri kisah-kisah fiksi dan realita, kesimpulan adalah milik pembaca, bagaimana memaknai poligami. Barisan kalimat bertenaga berikut, dicuplik dari tulisan pada cover belakang buku ini. Pernikahan poligami maupun monogami,keduanya sunah Rasul. Pilihan yang diambil, hendaknya menjadi jalan untuk meraup pahala dan surga serta mendapatkan keberkahan di dunia dan akhirat, yaitu keluarga sakinah, mawaddah, wa rohmah. Keberkahan itu hendaknya diraih dengan menjauhkan diri dari perbuatan zalim dan bersifat aniaya terhadap keluarga.
